About Rajdeep Goala

Born in Silchar and raised in the culturally rich environment of Barak Valley, Rajdeep Goala comes from a family deeply rooted in public life and service. Inspired by the values of discipline, integrity and hard work, he chose the path of public service to create a meaningful difference in people's lives.
With a strong educational foundation and global exposure, he brings a modern outlook, innovative thinking and a problem-solving approach to governance and development.
From serving as MLA of Lakhipur to now representing Udharbond, his journey reflects consistency, accountability and a people-first approach.
His mission is simple – to build a developed, inclusive and progressive Udharbond where every citizen has equal opportunity and a better tomorrow.

Championing the Rights & Dignity of Tea Workers
General Secretary of the historic Cachar Cha Shramik Union (CCSU) and Former Chairman of the Assam Tea Corporation Limited (ATCL), Shri Rajdeep Goala has dedicated his life to worker rights, fair wages, land title deeds (pattas), healthcare, and education across Barak Valley.
Cachar Cha Shramik Union (CCSU)
Leading Barak Valley's premier and most historic tea workers' trade union (carrying forward the 40-year legacy of late Dr. Dinesh Prasad Goala). Leading decisive tripartite negotiations with garden managements, the Tea Board of India, and state labor ministries for fair daily wages, 20% statutory Durga Puja ex-gratia bonuses, land rights, and PF security.
Assam Tea Corporation Limited (ATCL)
Spearheaded governance, strategic revival, and worker-centric administration as Chairman of the Assam Tea Corporation (Govt. of Assam Undertaking). Championed modernized tea garden infrastructure, estate financial turnarounds, timely worker remuneration, and comprehensive welfare saturation across state-owned tea gardens.
