Born in Silchar and raised in the culturally rich environment of Barak Valley, Rajdeep Goala comes from a family deeply rooted in public life and service. Inspired by the values of discipline, integrity and hard work, he chose the path of public service to create a meaningful difference in people's lives.

With a strong educational foundation and global exposure, he brings a modern outlook, innovative thinking and a problem-solving approach to governance and development.

From serving as MLA of Lakhipur to now representing Udharbond, his journey reflects consistency, accountability and a people-first approach.

General Secretary of the historic Cachar Cha Shramik Union (CCSU) and Former Chairman of the Assam Tea Corporation Limited (ATCL), Shri Rajdeep Goala has dedicated his life to worker rights, fair wages, land title deeds (pattas), healthcare, and education across Barak Valley.

As General Secretary of the historic Cachar Cha Shramik Union (CCSU), he has spearheaded decisive tripartite negotiations with garden managements, the Tea Board of India, and state ministries.

His holistic welfare vision bridges generations of socio-economic disparity by delivering permanent land rights (pattas), pucca housing, piped potable drinking water, and high schools right inside tea estate worker lines.
